Hmm, you've got the shape of the face pretty much down, though there ought to be some other highlights, (softer ones) on the right-hand cheek (my right) in order to give the face a little shape. Also, with the hair, you've got some good texture going on there, but I think it would be more effective if you used larger shapes. I'm assuming you know that the ear needs some shadows for definition, and you might want to consider adding in some "fill light" that's in between the brightness on the very edge of the face and the rest of it.
